Jointing service
We receive and inspect pallets of any type received from our customers. We shear according to defined criteria, maximizing the yield and final quality of the product. After precision gluing, we join the faces in the desired dimensions and according to the requested technical joining patterns, adding reinforcement to facilitate subsequent handling of the faces. Finally, we inspect, repair, and grade the final product, adapting to the required criteria to achieve an exceptional finish.
Types of joints
The types of wood veneer joints determine its final appearance. Some create symmetrical patterns, whle others offer a more natural or decorative finish. The main methods used are described below.
Soft mismatch
Random pattern in which some sheets from the same sheet packmay be repeated within the same face.
Heavy mismatch
Random pattern in which sheets from the same sheet pack are not repeated within the same face.
SLIPMATCH
The veneer sheets are laid side by side without turning, resulting in a uniform pattern with the grain running in the same direction.
Bookmatch
The veneer sheets are turned over before being joined together, forming a symmetrical pattern that aesthetically highlights the wood's natural grain and characteristics.
We can make all types of joints in the following measurements, thickness, widths, etc.
Standard measurements: 2460 x 1240mm | 2520×1270 mm | 3080x1270mm | 3200x1270mm | 4000x1270mm
Variable width: 1270mm, 1320mm, 1530mm up to 2900mm
We work with all these measurements: length from 2100 mm to 4000 mm and width from 900 mm to 2900 mm
Thickness: We work with thicknesses from 0,5 mm to 3 mm
